The After-School Artist Mentor role is educating the youth about basic art principles and techniques while encouraging creative expression and nurturing artistic abilities. The Artist Mentor should have demonstrated experience in a working knowledge of art themes and media, and the ability to convey art techniques to an array of youth and be passionate about teaching middle and high school students in an After-School setting.

The Artist Mentor coordinates lesson planning and goals with the Executive Director, who ensures the appropriate art supplies are provided.
