Looking to volunteer with your community group or employees? Do you want to give back to the community? Get involved with Sunday Streets!
What is Sunday Streets? Sunday Streets is an open streets program where we create miles of car-free streets for communities to get outdoors and be active in diverse San Francisco neighborhoods. We transform city streets into recreational space for the day and have tons of FREE activities. Sunday Streets encourages health, recreation, community activities and fun.
Groups: We coordinate volunteer group of various sizes. Minimum of 6 or more people.
When & Where: Sunday Streets has 10 events this year, from March to October.
- March 10 - Mission
- March 31 - Excelsior
- April 14 - Tenderloin
- May 5 - Bayview/Dogpatch
- June 9 - Sunset/Golden Gate Park
- July 14 - Mission
- August 18 - SoMa
- September 10 - Tenderloin
- September 22 - Western Addition
- October 20 - Excelsior

Sunday Streets encourages recreation, community activities and fun in San Francisco by opening city streets to people for several hours on a various Sundays for people to bike, walk, run, dance, do yoga, or do any other physical activity.
