There are thousands of worthy internships out there-but how do you narrow down the field to the one with the most career-furthering potential, real-world experience, and greatest sense that you’ve actually done something to make a change in the world and in yourself?

Compassion Connect internships are designed to provide:

* An experience that is innovatively catered to match your skills with our needs
* New heights of leadership and non-profit savvy
* A setting that will allow you to make a real difference in the movement to unite churches to serve in the Portland area and beyond

Our small non-profit is growing and incredibly driven in our mission, and because we are small you are immediately positioned to have a voice, offer your opinion, make your impact, and grow as a leader. We are looking for passionate and driven individuals who we can invest in-could you be one of them?

A few of our current internship opportunities:

* Communications/ Creative Intern (calling all marketers, writers, website designers, photographers, videographers, graphic designers, etc!)

* Community Health internship (help us improve the way we serve our low-income neighbors through free health clinics)

* Anti-Trafficking internships (we focus on trafficking prevention through mentoring, raising awareness and funds through our bridal shops, and assisting trafficking survivors in crisis situations)

And more! If any of these roles interest you, head on over to our website to learn more or to apply! https://compassionconnect.com/volunteer/

About Compassion Connect

Location:

Mission Statement

Our mission is to bring churches together to serve their neighborhoods. We do this through free health clinics for the underinsured and noninsured, anti trafficking efforts, and more. Our vision is to see churches and individuals everywhere choosing unity over division and compassion over complacency.

Description

The brokenness and division in the world is too big for just one church, organization, or person to handle. We believe neighborhoods suffer when churches compete and passionate people don't have an outlet to serve, so we create tools that invite people to put their faith in action and unite churches to address their neighborhood's issues together.

We understand how it feels to see the suffering in your neighborhood and not know what to do about it-and to not know how your own talents and time could help alleviate that suffering. For the past ten years we have been mobilizing people of faith to serve together in their own backyards using proven models of service that have helped bring physical and spiritual healing to thousands of broken people.

Too often indecision, fear, and apathy cause us not to act. Too often, misunderstandings and disagreements cause the people of God’s Church not to work together to reach the broken and bring hope to a hurting world. If we let these barriers prevent us from doing anything, we miss out on the incredible things God is waiting to do in and through us. You may believe that you can’t do anything to address the problems in your neighborhood. But we want you to know that you can do this. And we want to help you get there.
