The services provided by you as a Hospice volunteer will profoundly improve the quality of our patient's lives. Friendly visits enable families to keep their loved ones at home, around the people they love, and the things they love. Assisting with errands helps a tired family cope with their many challenges and allows them time with their loved one. Simply holding a patient's hand can ease their mind and comfort their spirit.

Our volunteer positions take no advanced medical training or great commitment. It can be as simple as reading to, or spending time with a patient. It is small deeds of kindness that so profoundly enhance the lives of our patients and those who love them

The time commitment for these volunteer positions flexible and we will work with you to find you a position that suits what you're looking for.

The following volunteer positions are available:

Companionship (Direct Care):

Volunteer will work with Hospice patients and their families to provide support services as indicated by patient or family needs under the supervision of the hospice volunteer coordinator. These support services include: visiting patients at home, hospital, or in a skilled nursing facility, providing companionship and supportive listening, providing respite care for primary caregiver, light housekeeping, running errands, child care, shopping and may provide minimal activities of daily living.
