Alliance Hospice is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Volunteers -like you! Our Volunteers provide companionship and socialization to patients and respite for their loved ones when they need it most! Visit one-on-one (if permissible), send cards of encouragement, visit virtually or make check in phone calls with patients and families to provide support. We have patients in the Augusta, Georgia, Thomson-McDuffie County area, and North Augusta and Aiken, South Carolina areas.
Volunteers are crucial to the hospice experience and a vital part of our team of caregivers. Patients and families value the personal touch volunteers bring to an emotional process at the end of life’s journey. During 2020 many of our volunteer opportunities have transitioned to VIRTUAL opportunities.
Contact Theo Eghdami, MT-BC; Music Therapist & Volunteer Coordinator @ (267) 858-1088 OR teghdami@alliancehospice.com for additional details and to discuss next steps to starting your hospice volunteer journey.
