For anyone interested, we have an incredible gala called Hope in the Harbor coming up on Thursday, April 11 th in Baltimore, Maryland. This event is held in the honor of a local St. Jude patient named Keeley, who unfortunately lost her battle to cancer in 2012. Her family wanted to do everything they could to ensure that no more children died of cancer, and decided to hold an annual fundraising gala in her honor with all of the proceeds going to St. Jude. Given that Keeley lived in the area, many of the gala attendees are in some way connected to the family, and this event is a beautiful display of a community coming together during trying times.

On a lighter note, Hope in the Harbor is lively event, featuring tastings from top Baltimore chefs, silent and live auctions as well as a cocktail reception. You will also get the chance to hear from a patient speaker, which is always a highlight of the night.

So please consider coming out and helping Keely’s family raise money for St. Jude! We are looking for volunteers to come at 4:30PM and stay through 10pm on April 11 th. We will need assistance with set-up/breakdown, running the auctions and simply engaging with donors. Please let me know if you are interested in coming out!
