Love talking to people about how much you love the library? We have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!

We are looking for people interested in talking to people at Library open houses, street fairs, and at events all over San Francisco! Training and talking points provided.

All volunteers must go through a 30 minute phone interview before being able to volunteer. We also ask volunteers to help once a month 3-5 hours.

To strengthen, support and advocate for a superior free public library system in San Francisco.

Description

Friends of the San Francisco Public Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises, and provides critical support for the San Francisco Public Library and related literary and educational programs. We provide the community with opportunities to invest in the success of the Library as well as literary and education communities by donating funds or by donating time through volunteering. We raise money and we raise our voices to ensure a first-class public library for San Francisco.
