We need artist to mentor and teach local youth about the arts in our after school program CREATIVE KINGDOM.
Creative kingdom is a free arts afterschool program,our program is a safe place held after school Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 PM for children who may not be able to afford art or music lessons perhaps the art programs have been completely cut from their schools or lacking the standard on the national level
creative kingdom provides children with equal access to visual arts performing arts and creative writing we provide homework help and a nutritious snack every day.
Our students participate in various art programs and throughout the year gives back to the community by volunteering performing concerts and displaying their work at local events. The students also have an opportunity to compete in national poetry competitions endorsed by the national endowment for the arts. Creative Kingdom also offers a summer program.
A part of our long-term vision is to create a pathway to self-sufficiency creating opportunities to be employed and become a part of the creative workforce. With careers like graphic design web designers’ commercial artists and fashion designers and much more.
In this increasingly competitive information age knowledge and skills in the arts and music are important . arts in afterschool programs helps build and reinforce important student learning
not only does it help strengthen teamwork, responsibility, persistence, and self-discipline
but art education can also promote learning in core subjects such as reading, writing and math.
We also offer a summer program. which will begin in july.

Mission Statement
Dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of the arts. Our after school program is a safe place held after school for children whom otherwise may not be able to afford art or music lessons or their schools are lacking the standard on a nation level. Perhaps, the art programs have been completely cut from their schools. We will provide children with equal access to visual arts, performing arts and creative writing. Our students participate in various art programs and upon completion of the programs the student will give back to the community through concerts and events displaying their work. Research demonstrates that students who study art and music enhance their ability to work together and is essential in providing student with critical thinking skills and positive behavior.
