Choice Hospice is seeking ministers and lay people of faith to offer weekly prayer, times for thanksgiving and praise, Scriptural study, devotional reading, and other forms of fellowship for shut-in residents in the Tulsa/Bartlesville areas. This opportunity is flexible in terms of day and time but we would request a consistent routine that could be shared by one or more volunteers!

By volunteering with Kindful Hospice and Palliative care, you become an intricate part of our team. We value our volunteers and work closely with each, to ensure that, as we a team, we provide the very best resources to our patients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 16
  • Orientation or Training
  • This would be either a weekly or bi-weekly commitment to minister to local shut-ins within an Assisted Living Center or Nursing Home. There is no restriction on timing, but an hour would be adequate, unless you prefer to spend longer.
  • Patience, compassion, mercy, grace, tenderness, a faithful and humble heart!
