The Catholic Charities public food pantry is moving to a new location. The pantry is located at 1470 West 13th Street, Jacksonville, FL 32209, on the campus of St. Pius Church. This new location will give us an opportunity to serve an area that is in a food desert and is in great need of assistance. Therefore, we will need more volunteers to help us extend our reach into this community.
Volunteer opportunities are on Tuesdays- 11:00 am -12:30 pm to help unload/stock donated food and Mondays & Wednesdays- 11:00 am - 2:30 pm to assist with public distribution and clean up. The first day of distribution will be on Wednesday, April 3rd. We will serve 40 people every Wednesday & Friday. Food tickets will be distributed beginning at 11 AM and end at 1 PM

Catholic Charities Workforce provides volunteer opportunities that directly and immediately have a positive impact on the clients we serve, who are unemployed or underemployed. The Workforce Program helps families in crisis by giving them the skills needed to find work and become self-sufficient.
