Do you love ice cream? Do you want to make a difference in your community? Then you've come to the right place! The Child & Family Network Centers (CFNC) is participating in Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day on April 9th from 12-8pm in National Harbor and is looking for volunteer scoopers to help us scoop ice cream. The ice cream is free, but all of the tips go toward providing a free early education for low income children in Alexandria, VA.

Our mission is to provide caring, high-quality free education and related services to at-risk children and families in their own neighborhoods to prepare and empower them for success in school and life.
Description
We provide free and fully accredited preschool education for children living in poverty in Northern Virginia. We also provide free family support, literacy, job training, and health programs to the parents of our students, giving children what they need most: strong, capable families. Currently, we serve nearly 200 children and their families each year at six program sites throughout Alexandria and Arlington.
