Seeking caring volunuteers to spend time with an older adult in your community.
Volunteers 18+ welcome. This is a very flexible volunteer opportunity. You work with the caregiver to determine a schedule that works for both of you.
Do you enjoy sharing stories or conversations over coffee? Do you appreciate connecting with people with similar interests? Were you in the military and want to connect with other veterans? Do you enjoy playing cards or just sitting on the porch visiting?
Increase the social interaction of a local senior and make a positive impact in your community. All it takes is 2 hours once a week to truly brighten someone's day!
Volunteers DO NOT provide personal care, lifting or transferring, direct medical assistance or advice, housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation or case management. Support and training is provided by the Caring Companion team. Call us today for more information!

Description
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
