Travelwithchaz is a 501c3 with a simple but powerful mission of empowering youth from low-income underserved communities through trips and events. One such even keeping youth safe off the streets is our Saturday Night Lights boxing Guns Down Gloves up free 8 (Saturdays) intergenerational boxing/cardio program. Needs are for our annual holiday party:
Person to monitor sign in page/front desk area for registered program guest.
Set up food, tables, decorations for holiday party
Need servers ( 5) at buffet stations
Camera and Video person
Set up of food for after boxing meal for healthy eating
Organize room for after boxing community workshop
Need help with working with group of 5 kids following direction of trainer
Youth mentors to help youth work with each other.
Boxing trainers' assistants
Volunteers with experience running workshops on nutrition, financial management, mental health, teen issues, parent workshops.

Mission Statement
TravelWithChaz serves youth and their families providing the tools for life to promote positive change in themselves and the environments they live in. This is done by creating opportunities, activities and networks that foster exploration of new environments, skills building and openness to learning new things. TravelWithChaz is committed to collaboration, working with the child, guardian, school and other community partners for a person centered approach. TravelWithChaz reaches youth and their families through programs designed to teach vital tools for life that promote positive changes in themselves and empower them to transform their communities. By creating unique opportunities and encouraging cultural, educational, social and recreational activities, we have created a network that fosters curiosity, exploration, and respect for new environments.
Description
Started 4 years ago TravelWithChaz has reached hundreds of youth and their families and we have had successful outings to sporting events, recreational and educational adventures. One really cool aspect is a new program in which we have started free boxing programs with an olympic boxing champion. The idea is to promote non violence and an alternative to guns. We will also include our seniors in the boxing program to help bridge the gaps between the grandparents and the youth. Volunteers are needed for this program to help with instruction, guidance and offering self discipline methods for the youth.

- This is a great opportunity to give back to our youth. We need dedicated volunteers that are able to commit to this one Saturday holiday or all Saturdays. Volunteers will also be able to participate in trips if they like susporting and other events.
