Coastwise is seeking female adult leaders for Sea Scout Ship 243.
Sea Scouts are a part of the Boy Scouts of America with a maritime focus. This is a co-ed program for youth aged 14-21. Youth Protection guidelines require a female leader to be present at all times when a female scout is participating.
Understanding that not all leaders are able to make every event, multiple leaders are sought to ensure that we have full coverage and remain in compliance.
Prior seagoing experience is helpful, but not required. Proper training will be provided.
