A very special person is sought to live in the cat sanctuary in exchange for volunteering the night shift five (5) days a week, (2 weekdays off). Two of the hours daily must be the night shift that include kitty chores and medications and injecting Pro Zinc (pet) insulin injection between 11:30 pm- 12 midnight. An additional 2 hours a day of cleaning / pet laundry is required. (This opportunity expects volunteer help 4 hours, 5 days a week in exchange to live rent free)

Seeking a genuine cat lover that is physically capable to clean and bend to sift litter boxes and carry supplies and can commit to the living arrangement until August 31 st, 2019 and possibly beyond. The selected candidate would live out to train prior to securing the full term of the agreement.

Training provided for medicating (pill giving) and injecting insulin. This opportunity would be fitting for a college student on the vet track, or a crazy cat lady. You would never be lonely sleeping with cats on a futon.

The sanctuary is on a private road in a canyon with a view of nature that is secluded and quiet. Definition of Kitty Tasks; (feeding, scooping, washing kitty plate’s water bowls and cleaning up hairballs or accidents.

*** No overnight guests or entertaining at the sanctuary. Includes Wi-Fi. There is no television. Verizon Wireless does provide good cell service in the canyon. Other cell service providers lack cell coverage.

Mission Statement

To provide veterinary medical services for homeless, or "at-risk" shelter dogs and cats; including community outreach programs, spay/ neuter, veterinary medical treatments, procedures and surgeries to facilitate the adoption these animals and to provide the financial resources necessary to support the rescuing of these animals.

Description

Community Animal Network provides veterinary medical services to rescued animals that need to find new homes and was founded in Newport Beach, California, in 1996.

C.A.N. is a community supported with donations that service the needs of shelter animals and abandoned animals that need to find new homes. Our signature community outreach program is our "Pets For Seniors" program that gives mature cats to senior people and provides the veterinary medical for the animals life-time.

Rescue animals are cared for in private homes by the "Good Samaritans" that rescued the abandoned animal, or in foster homes (when available) all lover Orange county.

Community Animal Network shows rescue animals for adoption in the caregiver's homes.
