Here's the fun stuff you'll do as a ROAR! Elementary Crew Leader or Co-Leader!
- Crew leaders, ages 18 and up, will lead a small group of 5-7 elementary-aged children. There's no prep work required. A good crew leader is a friend and helper for the kids and ROAR station leaders. They ask questions, sing along with them and encourage them throughout the week at VBS.
- The assistant crew leader, rising 6th graders and up, serves as a secondary crew leader and helps manage supplies, get the crew from station to station.
- You will be safely transporting your crew from fun stations like: Imagination Station, Kid Vid, Game Makers and more!
- Crew leaders and assistant crew leaders should be able to volunteer every day of VBS as well as participate in a volunteer training party on either Wed., May 22, 6:30-7:30pm OR Sunday, June 9, 11:30-12:30pm.

Mission Statement
We believe in creating loving space where all belong.
Description
College Park United began on Nov. 7, 1943 and has been the little church on the corner of Princeton and Edgewater since then. CPUMC has many different ministries, from our free community garden to outreach to the local schools (we provide all of the food at Edgewater High School for its free market, in partnership with Fannie Hillman and Associates). We also are home to the Child Development Center serving hundreds of local children and families for their little ones ages 6 weeks to Pre-Kindergarten. Summer 2019 will see us hosting "Roar!" an African-themed Vacation Bible School for children ages PreK-5th grade.
