Volunteer Opportunity Title: Sewing Volunteer

Start and End Date: Ongoing

Description: We are always recruiting for our Refugee Sewing program! Our curriculum ranges from the basics, to repairs and alterations, and even a partnership with Cotopaxi. This program has incredible room for growth, and we hope you will become part of our community!

The ideal volunteer will be experienced with the basics of sewing and using a sewing machine or serger. Volunteers will receive an orientation on the curriculum to ensure uniformity of projects and knowledge.

It will be the volunteer's duty to sign up for class beforehand using an electronic sign up sheet, come to class prepared-having looked over the planned materials for that day, communicate with other volunteers as needed, and keep an open-minded, empathetic attitude.

Thank you in advance for your interest in our Sewing program! Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
