Women Giving Back provides clothing for free to women and children in crisis. We need help in the store and warehouse. To find volunteer opportunities, go to https://wgb.volunteerhub.com/

All new volunteers must attend an hour long orientation session, effective 4/25/22

Store: We need help with assisting clients shop and restocking the store. Spanish speakers always needed!

Warehouse: We need help sorting clothing donations, hanging, and re-stocking the boutique. Who doesn't love to listen to music and organize together?

Must be 15+ to volunteer. Ages 12-14 must be accompanied by an adult and each need an account/sign up.

WGB’s mission is to support women and children in crisis, and build their confidence and self-esteem, by providing great quality clothing at no cost, assisted by caring and committed volunteers who offer personalized service and interaction.

Description

The WGB Store is filled with wonderful clothing, accessories, shoes and more for our clients that are currently in shelters or transitional programs. We open the second Saturday of each month or by appointment. Clients are qualified by their Case Workers. Our clients leave standing much straighter and prouder than when they walk in.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 12
  • Flexible! Come as little or as often as you want.
  • Must be able to stand for the entirety of your shift. Teens below the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Those in need of court-related hours must get in touch with our volunteer engagement specialist before coming to volunteer.
