Once a week for 2 hours our students complete evidence-based curriculum, engage in round table discussions, and participate in creative leadership activities.
Each youth receives a Development Portfolio upon completion of the program year, along with Letters of
Recommendation for work and/or scholarships.
Our students are also invited to attend community workshops and our annual First, Love Yourself Gala.
As a facilitator you would provide an icebreaker, help with homework hour and facilitate discussions and our daily activity. All activities and discussion questions are located on our drive where you would print and prepare for your weekly class.
Each volunteer will go through a phone interview, face to face meeting, and an orientation before being introduced to their class.
