ORGANIZATION: Crisis Center

The Crisis Center is looking for volunteers to help with daily administrative tasks! These include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones and transferring calls
  • Sorting mail into the correct staff mail box
  • Answering the door for visitors or clients arriving for appointments
  • Light Clerical Duties
  • Data Entry (if needed or able)
  • Donation organization (if needed or able

Shift length varies depending on the day, but we are currently seeking daily volunteers from 1:00-2:00 during the week and monthly volunteers the last Tuesday of each month from 1:00-3:00. Additional opportunities are available with a weeks’ notice for scheduled staff PTO, as well as on-call for emergency coverage for staff illness, etc.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build an administrative skill set and make new relationships within their community. The Crisis Center will provide all necessary training.

Advocacy: The Crisis Center tirelessly advocates for our clients and community as it relates to ending violence.

Empowerment: The Crisis Center seeks every opportunity to ensure our clients have the inner strength to be sustainable.

Prevention/Intervention: The Crisis Center seeks to establish and provide useful resources to mitigate all of the circumstances that lead to violent outcomes.

Service/Education: The Crisis Center offers a wide variety of programs, events and ways to learn how to end the cycle of violence.
