The St. Petersburg Free Clinic is in need of volunteers to assist in our Dental Clinic with fillings, extractions, and cleanings. Currently, we treat adults aged 18-64 without private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and who do not qualify for low-income opportunities, per Pinellas County Health Dept.
Our Dental Clinics are hosted in partnership with Pinellas County Dental Association, Pinellas County Health Department and Pinellas Technical College, and occur on a scheduled basis each month.
Volunteers that are interested in working in our Dental Clinic must be able to commit to a at least a one-time opportunity / half-day event. However, we do hold multiple clinics throughout the year/month and you can sign up for as many opportunities as you would like. You must be actively licensed/certified in the state of Florida to assist.
We are specifically looking for volunteers to assist as:
- Dental Assistants
- Dental Hygienists
- Wednesdays from 4:00 - 8:00PM
- Saturdays (monthly) from 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Fridays (monthly) from 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
If you're interested in learning more or attending our next New Volunteer Orientation, please contact our Volunteer & Outreach COordinator at 727-821-1200 x 114 or email@example.com
We'll work with your schedule.
