The Hampton Roads Armed Services YMCA hosts many programs with volunteer needs. We are currently seeking to hire a paid volunteer to help with our Operation Little Learners program. This program is available to military members with young children. Our facilitators set up school-readiness classes in military housing community centers; bringing the best early learning experiences to service families. As a facilitator, you would help set up learning stations during classes that meet twice a week, for two hours at a time. You would guide parents and children as they explore each learning center. Most importantly, as a facilitator, you would have the opportunity to serve those who serve our county!

- This is a part time opportunity. If you are a baby sitter, and often work evenings, this is a great supplemental job! The program you would be assisting meets at one center on Mondays& Wednesdays from 9-12, another on Tuesdays & Thursdays 9-12.
- Candidates would need to have excellent interpersonal communication skills, as they guide parents and toddlers through mom and me learning centers. Organization, cleanliness, and friendliness required:)
