Program 1251SP-M
Date: Friday, March 29th
Time: 9:00 - 10:30 AM (please arrive at 8:45 AM for an orientation)
Volunteer Role: Art coach
About the program: Not Afraid of Dogs by Susanna Pitzer , a funny look at the nature of courage, fear, and friendship, inspired first-graders to discuss their own fears. Art coaches will support groups as they create illustrations for their essays about on how they overcame their fears-or not. The program also includes a visit to Frolic , where friendly dogs help children learn techniques that translate into everyday good behavior.
