On April 28th, CicLAvia will partner with LA2050 to open the streets of Wilmington to cyclists, pedestrians, runners, and skaters alike to explore as recreational space.
For CicLAvia's 30th route, this free community festival offers an opportunity for attendees of all ages and abilities to explore the car-free streets of one of Los Angeles' Southeastern communities. We encourage you to walk, run, take your time, and explore the many facets of this vibrant neighborhood!
On the day of CicLAvia, enthusiastic supporters:
‣ Help with way-finding, slow zones and dismount areas
‣ Provide participants with route and activity information
‣ Sign people up for the CicLAvia mailing list and free drawing

CicLAvia is a 501c3 non-profit that catalyzes vibrant public spaces, active transportation and good health through car-free street events. CicLAvia engages with people to positively transform our relationship with our communities and with each other. CicLAvia temporarily opens streets across Los Angeles county to all Angelenos to bike, walk, skate, dance, and play. Free to the public, the event turns the streets into a park space that connects diverse portions of the city.
Description
Whether you're 16 or 60, an individual or with a group, there are many ways for CicLAvia fans to donate a few hours to the event.
On the day of the event, enthusiastic supporters help:
-Provide participants with route and activity information
-manage participant traffic at crossing points and hubs
-sign participants up for the CicLAvia mailing list
