To assist with inventory of historical artifacts.
A huge benefit is having a love of history, especially military history; and an eagerness to learn.
There is no heavy lifting, no climbing ladders, no reaching down any items from upper shelves.
BENEFITS of VOLUNTEERING at the MUSEUM
Lunch is Provided: We keep a variety of Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers in the freezer. Snacks are Provided: fresh fruit and veggies; Low cholesterol, low sodium, low cal, & the yummy snacks including water & pop. Annual Christmas Party. These a just a few of the many benefits.
We work with you schedule; we do need regular day and time commitment no matter how many/how few days and hours per week you want to give.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to perpetuate the memory of the Veterans of our Armed Forces past, present and future, to establish a permanent military history museum as a repository for preserving artifacts and research materials, and to foster Patriotism and respect for our Veterans and the Armed Forces.
Description
We opened in January 2007 In 2017 we became our own 501(c)3 non profit charitable organization. WE HAVE MOVED INTO FAIRBORN OHIO AT 4 E. MAIN ST., FAIRBORN, OH 45324
We have more than 130 uniforms of all types and hundreds of other artifacts on display. We are arranged in chronological order, making it easy for visitors to self tour displays that cover the Revolutionary War to present. All branches of the Armed Forces are represented, including the Coast Guard and the Merchant Marine. Relics from the opposing side in each conflict are also displayed. Highlights of our artifacts include the Medal of Honor, pieces of the USS Maine and USS Arizona, and pieces of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the United Flight 93 crash site.
