This is a terrific opportunity for someone male/female who has a love for people, retail, merchandising and everything that goes along with it! You would be placed in a position that you are comfortable with. If you love running a register and you're comfortable with the computer, credit card machine and telephone you'll love it here! But, if you're not comfortable with that, and you'd like to just work with customers or even the receiving end of all the merchandise you'll love it here! We try to have a light atmosphere that makes the customers and employees of the hospital comfortable and wanting to come back over and over! If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, let us know. We are in definite need of personable people who would just like a little something extra in their day. The shifts are Mon - Fri 9 to 12 or 12 to 4. You will receive a $6 meal voucher each time you work 4 hours or more which can be used in the hospital cafeteria or at Perks which is our own little "Starbucks".

Mission Statement
The hospital gift shop aims to raise money to help fund special projects for the hospital. We also provide a needed service to the employees, patients, families and residents of nearby cities. We are mostly volunteer based with a paid manager and 3 paid part time night/weekend cashiers. Our volunteers are the most important part! Without them, all of our profits would be spent on salaries.
Description
We are a hospital gift shop run by the Auxiliary. All of our profits go back to the hospital to benefit patient's care and well being. We were once the "Hop Shop" which had a full kitchen and gift shop combined. Now we are strictly retail. We have been a staple in Ravenna for over 50 years.
