Volunteer for Project: LEARN's BookShelf! Our bookstores support our adult literacy tutoring mission, and are a really fun place to volunteer. You will be sorting and stocking book donations, helping customers find books, ringing up purchases, and keeping the store organized. Shifts are typically from 10am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-5pm weekdays, and 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm on Saturdays. Join us at The BookShelf!

Our Mission: To enhance lives and strengthen communities by helping adults improve fundamental skills in reading, problem-solving, and the English language.
Description
Project: LEARN provides free, confidential one-on-one tutoring to individuals interested in improving reading, writing, math, daily living skills and individuals learning English as a second language. We can assist with High School Equivalency test preparation (e.g.: GED), ASVAB, citizenship, and other exam preparation. Tutoring is provided by dedicated volunteers, supervised by certified teachers.
