Intern at one of Santa Barbara's most fun camps! Let's Make a Pizza! is a week long summer camp for children grades 3 to 6.
Campers will make a pizza from seed to table in our new Pizza Camp. Campers will garden, make sauce, mill grains, and cook their delicious handmade creations in our mobile wood fired pizza oven. Join us for a week of cooking and gardening fun at Pilgrim Terrace Urban Farm. Open to campers Grades 3 to 6.
Regular day: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Counselor-in-Training program available for students ages 13 to 17 - please email for details.
Compensation: This is a non-paid, volunteer internship. College credit may be available, check with your college advisor. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to go into teaching or environmental education of any kind. Letters of reference will be issued to interns who successfully complete their internship.

Explore Ecology is an environmental education and arts nonprofit located in Santa Barbara, California. We work with over 30,000 children a year, inspiring them to engage with the natural world, think critically, and experience the value of environmental stewardship. Explore Ecology programs include the Art From Scrap Creative ReUse Store and Gallery, Environmental Education, Watershed Resource Center, and School Gardens.
The mission of Explore Ecology is to promote a greater understanding of the connections between people and their environment and to encourage creative thinking through hands-on environmental education and artistic expression. We empower our community to protect and preserve the environment through environmental education and creative exploration.
