Beginning on Wednesday, April 10, Bounty & Soul is excited to debut a new market in partnership with ABCCM and MAHEC in Candler at the Hominy Valley Crisis Center. The produce sorting shift will take place weekly on Wednesdays from 2-4 pm and will involve sorting and inspecting healthy produce from local farms and gardens, placing in baskets along with healthy recipes along the food line and composting what cannot be salvaged.

Once we've established a good baseline with participants we will begin health and wellness programming for adults and children and explore activities like yoga, Zumba and more!

Right now we're working to build a solid base of volunteers interested in assisting with produce sorting and market support. If you know folks in the area who might be interested in getting involved please send them our way!

Bounty & Soul is a Black Mountain-based nonprofit that connects, shares, and celebrates nutritious food, education, and community. We host weekly FREE, fresh produce markets paired with nutrition and wellness education and resources for adults and children as well as accessible yoga and Zumba classes. We are dedicated to creating communities where everyone has the right and opportunity to eat well, be nourished, and thrive.
