We now face a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak. Please consider making an appointment to help patients counting on lifesaving blood in the weeks ahead.
Another way to help is to volunteer at a blood drive or join a mission-critical volunteer position to fulfill our lifesaving work. We are working with public health officials to help keep everyone safe. The position is called Blood Donor Ambassador. Volunteers can do several different tasks like registering people, handing out snacks and interacting with donors. An understanding of computers and technology is required.
