We are seeking people who want to make a profound difference in the lives of people living in long term care facilities in our community. At Springwell we cover all Nursing Homes and Rest Homes in 8 towns: Belmont, Brookline, Needham, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Weston and Wellesley. Ombudsman volunteers act as resident advocates, ensuring that complaints and concerns are heard. Do you want to make a real difference?

Description
Springwell, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, is part of a statewide network of Aging Services Access Points and nationwide network of Area Agencies on Aging that coordinate care services to enhance the quality of life for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families. Services include homemaking, personal care, grocery shopping, home delivered meals, transportation, and more. Volunteers provide vital help delivering meals, doing grocery shopping, visiting with isolated older adults, helping with budgeting and monthly bills, and advocating for those living in nursing homes.
