The Carlsbad Music Festival is a nationally-acclaimed presenter and a beloved community event that draws thousands from near and far for its unique programming and beautiful setting just blocks from the beach at St. Michael’s By the Sea. The Festival programming is an eclectic mix of creative and adventurous music including contemporary classical, indie rock, world music, electronic, jazz, and musicians who work across genres and fall between the cracks.

The Carlsbad Music Festival and Eclectic Lawn Series are heavily dependent on the generosity of community volunteers who help keep the festival running smoothly and allow it to be a success year after year.

Description

The Carlsbad Music Festival is an annual event that features world-class adventurous performers and composers in the charming seaside Village of Carlsbad. The Festival has been praised by local and national media including the Los Angeles Times, which called the Festival "magnificently enlightening." In 2010, the Festival won the national ASCAP Chamber Music America Award for Adventurous Programming at an award ceremony in New York. This year, the Festival was awarded a prestigious Artworks Grant from the National Endowment of the Arts.
