ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - Utah & Nevada Region

Keep your neighbors safe from home fires. Home fires kill more people every year than all other disasters combined. This Spring, help us Sound the Alarm to prevent these tragedies in more than 100 at-risk communities nationwide.

During our local Sound the Alarm event, American Red Cross volunteers and partners canvass high-risk neighborhoods to install free smoke alarms, replace batteries in existing alarms and help families create escape plans.

We have events on the following days:

  • Saturday, April 27th, 2019 (10am to 2pm): Ogden
  • Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 (4pm to 8pm): Magna
  • Saturday, May 4th, 2019 (9am to 1pm): Salt Lake City (Liberty Park area)
  • Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 (4pm to 8pm): Millcreek
  • Saturday, May 11th, 2019 (9am to 1pm): Tooele
