Thorman Elementary strives to help students advance with their reading skills. Lexia is an app that helps students develop their reading skills through fun and interactive games. Unfortunately, some students do fall behind and do not have access to the Lexia app due to no WI-FI at home or no access to a computer/tablet.
Thorman Elementary has decided to start a Lexia Club that will host students that are behind in reading levels. We need volunteers who are willing to devote some time by supervising the students.
Volunteer duties include:
- Supervising students grades 1st-5th grade
- Interacting with students in case they have questions
- Helping students trouble shoot the app if needed
