We are seeking to build a small team of volunteers to help us manage our clothing closet. As of January 1st, it is now required by law that hospitals provide weather appropriate clothing to any person discharged from our care that does not have appropriate clothing at their disposal. We have two main clothing closets and a large storage closet that need constant maintaining in order for our staff to be able to easily grab clothing for our patients when needed. We are looking for volunteers who are organized and who have a passion for helping others. Volunteers for this task should be able to lift up to 10 pounds, stand for at least 20 minutes at a time and walk unimpeded. If this sounds like something that you might like to do, please let me know and I would love to talk to you more and give you a tour of our clothing closets.
