Crosscut, Cascade Public Media's online news journal, presents the Crosscut Festival; two days of thought-provoking conversations and innovative thinking, tackling the most important issues of our times. Journalists, politicians, authors, and newsmakers from our community and around the nation come together to take a hard look at the people, policy and events that shape our lives.
We are looking for 2 volunteers to help monitor rooms (making sure things are clean, neat and orderly and the areas are not accessed by the general public) during the 1-6 pm shift on Saturday, May 4th.
We will provide several options for training in the two weeks prior to the event. You will also have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the campus to familiarize yourself with the layout of the event venues if you so wish.
All volunteers who work at least one 4 hour shift will have free access to the programming the rest of the day on Saturday.
Background checks are completed for all Cascade Public Media volunteers.
