AFS Intercultural Programs (Steinbeck Coast Team) is looking for volunteers to help out in all aspects of our team activities, which involve recruiting host families to host our international high school students, providing trainings and orientations for our families and students, providing enrichment activities, interviewing students and families, and many other varied activities. The volunteer role and time required varies depending upon the role, and we have room for all who would like to be involved, whether on a regular basis or from time to time.

AFS-USA (formerly the American Field Service) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit leader in intercultural learning. We offer international exchange programs in more than 40 countries through a global network of independent, non-profit AFS Organizations, each with a professionally staffed office and a team of dedicated volunteers. We’ve been facilitating life-changing opportunities abroad for more than 70 years with an exemplary record of safety, security, and service.
