Honor Earth Day on Saturday, April 18 with the Harrison Township Beautification Commission by participating in this family-friendly litter pick-up rain or shine. We will start at 9:00 A.M. at Mariner's Plaza parking lot behind McDonald's at 25900 Crocker, Harrison Township. We'll pick up litter along Metropolitan Parkway and that general area. Social distancing should not be a problem due to being outside. Instructions, bags, gloves, masks litter pickers, and water will be provided. Children must be supervised. Volunteer hours will be honored for participants.

Description
Harrison Township Beautification Commission creates and maintains community gardens throughout Harrison Township. They have regular annual events including a litter pick-up, plant exchange, Great Gardening resident garden recognition, Garden Tour, tree-plantings, and Veteran's Memorial Program. They also conduct a Sculpture Donation Program, with plans of installing sculptures throughout the community.
