Are you passionate about reducing mental health stigma? Are you interested in making a difference in your community?

Beautifully Simply You and Waltham Partnership for Youth are excited to be hosting the 2nd Mental Health Awareness Event on September 18 (Rain date September 19) from 11 AM - 3 PM on Waltham Common! This event is full of mental wellness activities, resources from local mental health organizations, community building, and fun! In 2019, we had over 30 mental health organizations showcase their resources, several interactive mental wellness art activities, yoga, zumba, and several students and speakers sharing their own mental health stories and expertise.

We need lots of volunteers to make this an event a success! Volunteers will get a free event t-shirt. Please use this form to let us know your interest/availability.

Volunteer roles include setting up or breaking down the event as well as coordinating & running the several mental wellness activities (Yoga, Self-Love Garden, Ping-Pong Mental Health Talk & workshops) that we will have! More information on activities can be found at our website: bit.ly/NotAloneInWaltham

We will assign you to a role based off the time slot you choose, but if you have a specific mental wellness activity you really want to coordinate, please let me know! If you have any questions, please email Ivy Watts, Event Coordinator, at ivy@walthampartnershipforyouth.org

With your involvement, we can help to foster even more work in the community to raise mental health awareness and reduce the stigmas that prevent young people and their families from seeking the help they need. To sign up to be a volunteer, email ivy@walthampartnershipforyouth or go to: https://forms.gle/9ZpNVEMmt6VbazPD8
