We are seeking the support of ongoing volunteers or one-time volunteers to assist with the program’s Thursday food distribution to families and seniors. Food is delivered through a partnership with the SF Food Bank in collaboration with 10th and Mission Family Center and Edith Witt Senior Center.

Volunteer duties include:
* Support staff in receiving food delivered at the center from the SF Food Bank
* Organize and sort food items
* Distribute food to families and seniors and assist clients as necessary
* Help clean-up

11:30 am - 2:30pm Set up from 11:30-1:00, lunch break 1:00-1:30, hand out food, 1:30-2:30.

Thanks to the help of volunteers and staff in 2017 we served almost 35,000 clients. 3,024 clients were served by Homelessness and Housing Services. Almost 5,000 refugee and immigrant consultations were provided and 2,332 seniors were served. In addition 25,459 youth were served in San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo.
