Member Duties : Homes on the Hill is a small nonprofit with 25 years of experience. We are searching for a VISTA (Volunteer In Service To America) member that will work on community outreach and resource development. The VISTA will become an advocate for Homes on the Hill at community meetings and educate neighbors about our programs and free supportive services. The VISTA will assist on projects that provide affordable housing, education, food access, marketing, and community relations. The VISTA’s main duties will include: community outreach, community organizing, event planning, program design, social media, researching, grant writing, and creating marketing material. The VISTA will have a unique opportunity to establish and build relationships with government agencies, nonprofits, community stakeholders, investors, and researchers. The VISTA will have freedom to use their creativity. After a successful service, our past VISTAs have been hired on or have found a job with community partners they met during their term.
