Seeking volunteers to help in the following areas:
Social media interns: assists with updating our Facebook, twitter, and Instagram accounts with information about the event.
Host home helper: Ensure featured artist report to the correct host home. Ensure artists maintain on schedule for their location. Ensure that after the performances, the area is clean. Assist host home in serving artists scheduled to appear at that location.
Greeter: Assist with the information booth by providing maps for the events and stroll the event area providing event information. Direct vendors to their designated areas.
Photographer: Roam the event taking pictures to provide for advertisement and the web site for future Porchfest DC.

Mission Statement
The Porchfest DC is a community event that spotlights the camaraderie and spirit of the nation's capitol east of the Potomac river. Porchfest DC hosts musicians, bands, and spoken word artist on front porches in a designated neighborhood. Neighbors collaborate to plan and coordinate the event.
Description
This event is completely coordinated by volunteers who believe in the power of arts and the understanding that engagement builds stronger more viable communities. Porchfest DC seeks volunteers who love the arts and enjoy the camaraderie of community.
