Join your friends and neighbors in a fun time of working together to make Rowlett a more beautiful place!
Volunteers of all ages are invited to join Keep Rowlett Beautiful, Inc. in a city-wide park, streets, and neighborhood cleanup effort. Individuals, families, schools, and groups of all types are encouraged to do their part to help clean up our beautiful city. Score some service hours doing gardening, grounds keeping, and general cleanup of the city! Take the # trashtagchallenge and share your posts with # trashtag and # cleanYOURblock so we can celebrate your efforts!
FOOD | MUSIC | PRIZES! All volunteers are invited back to the pavilion after the cleanup for a volunteer appreciation luncheon. Enjoy hot dogs, drinks, chips, and cookies. Listen to music and share your stories of the day. Take part in prize drawings of goods and services donated by local Rowlett merchants. Description
KRB works on educating Rowlett citizens on recycling, litter prevention, and beautification. KRB works closely with the City of Rowlett, but we are a stand alone non-profit organization. Keep Rowlett Beautiful provides litter prevention and recycling education programs to local schools and youth groups. We also work with community groups and businesses to conduct cleanup and beautification events. We work with any group any time to remove litter. All programs and supplies are offered free of charge.
Programs: Adopt-A-Highway, Electronic Recycling, and paper shredding events twice a year, Community Service Coordination, Educational
