Hopewell Music Cooperative is putting on our annual Anniversary Concert at Patrick Henry High School (4320 N Newton Ave) and showcasing our talented Northside students! We need some extra hands to help haul equipment to the venue, as well as with set up and tear down of sound equipment, decorations, refreshment and information tables. There are shifts available through Hopewell's volunteer management software, BetterImpact (https://www.hopewellmusic.com/volunteer.html) starting at 11am and ending at 8pm. Volunteer shifts will be approximately 2 hours long. Let us know if you can help out!

Hopewell’s mission is to improve access to music education in North Minneapolis through affordable, inclusive, and engaging music programs.
Description
Due to long-standing issues of inequity, North Minneapolis residents have not had the same opportunities in music as those living in more affluent areas. Hopewell Music seeks to empower Northsiders of all backgrounds to express themselves creatively by removing barriers to an education in music. Sliding scale tuition is available for folks on federal or state assistance which removes financial barriers to music lessons, music classes, workshops, and camps. Our music school is also located on the Northside, providing a safe and affordable option for music education right in the neighborhood. In addition, Hopewell offers six ensembles that are free and open to anyone in the Northside community, so North Minneapolis musicians can come to make music with one another.
