The YWCA Princeton is seeking enthusiastic volunteers at our Communiversity booth to promote Stand Against Racism! We will be passing out brochures, encouraging participants to sign the Stand Against Racism banner, and more. High schoolers and older are welcome to help for set shifts -- reach out to kliu@ywcaprinceton to set shift times.
The YWCA Princeton is a nonprofit based in Princeton, NJ with the mission to eliminate racism and empower women. We have a variety of different programs such as our Breast Cancer Resource Center and English as a Second Language program that help us achieve our goal, as well as various advocacy events including our Stand Against Racism series. If you would like volunteer hours, we can provide those as well for this opportunity.

Mission Statement
YWCA Princeton is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women.
Description
The mission of the YWCA Princeton is to eliminate racism and empower women. Everything we do is intended to be true to this purpose.
More than 5,000 members take advantage of our programs and services: from child care, after-school care, and summer camps to dance, art and crafts and book clubs; from educational lectures and seminars to aquatics, martial arts and wellness classes.
Our mission to eliminate racism is highlighted by our English as a Second Language program and our multi-lingual nursery school, as well as our annual "Stand Against Racism," which has been replicated by YWCAs across the country.
Our mission to empower women is the hallmark of our Breast Cancer Resource Center, which provides help, hope and ongoing support for breast cancer survivors, and their families and caregivers.
Every day, we encourage women and girls to become volunteers, mentors, thinkers, and leaders. As we put our mission into action, the Friends of the YWCA lead the charge to allocate eighty-five cents of every dollar we raise to the women and families of our communities.
