Volunteers, community champions, and community participants will meet on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 8:00 AM Central Time at the Killeen Community Center then spread out to locations throughout Killeen to remove trash and debris. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided for lunch when we reassemble at the Killeen Community Center for raffle prizes and awards for the "Oldest" and "Youngest" Volunteer, along with "Most Oddest" and "Most Valuable" pieces of trash found during the trash off.

Killeen 1st Platoon would like to thank Keep Killeen Beautiful (KKB) for partnering with us on this event. Together, everyone achieves more! WHAT TO WEAR: TMC blue shirt, hat, gloves, comfortable shoes/boots, pants you don't mind getting dirty, sunblock. KKB will provide equipment for trash pick-up. WHAT TO BRING: A friend, lots of energy, and a kick-ass attitude! This event is kid-friendly.


PARKING: Killeen Community Center parking lot at 2201 E Veterans Memorial Blvd, Killeen, TX 76543.

INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN: In the case of inclement weather, we will postpone the event until the weather becomes favorable.
