Volunteer at our Track and Field Competition taking place at Mariner High School. Athletes with intellectual disabilities will be competing against 200 other athletes from the Northwest Region of Washington State!

You can volunteer as an individual or as a group. Volunteers 11-13 must have an adult chaperone and volunteers 14-17 need parent/guardian permission.

Description
Special Olympics Washington provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with mental retardation or a closely related developmental disability, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

- Must be at least 11
- Volunteer shifts are broken into 4/6/8 hour shifts. However, volunteer shifts start/end times vary depending on the role.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. You will be on your feet most of the day. Lunch will be provided but please bring your own snacks and water! If you have any dietary restrictions, please bring your own food.
