As a nonprofit that serves the community we are supported by donations from those who support our program. We need a fundraising committee to focus solely on pooling resources for our program to continue to thrive and grow.

Being a Chrysalis Fundraising Committee meeting requires:

  • Attendance at monthly meetings
  • Some Event Planning
  • Some Public Relations Tasks
  • Researching FFunding Sources
  • Creating Media Content
  • Assistance with creating an annual fundraising plan
  • Creativity and determination
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some marketing and advertisings
  • Passion for our mission

Description

The Chrysalis Program is a 501c3 nonprofit that teaches self-confidence, accountability and practical life skills to minority girls age 5-19 through interactive workshops, mentoring and counseling.

Utilizing the resources of volunteers and active parents we create a community of learning, transformation and growth.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • We will need roughly 3 hours a week to execute fundraising plan; a concentrated 1 hour three days a week. 30 minutes of planning, 1 hour of communication with potential donors, 1 hour of following up with current donors. 30 minutes of reporting.
  • Monthly meetings are required.
