Job description for USDA:
Help WVCS distribute USDA food to our clients. Volunteers would pull USDA food from our back stock area and set up a rack for distribution. The quantities for the clients are marked and the food is given out according to that quantity. Distributions will begin at 1:00 and continue through 4:30. Clients will sign in on a USDA sheet to self certify they meet the income eligibility requirements. This position will involve some lifting and interaction with clients from diverse backgrounds. Onsite training will be given. Program will start on April 12th, 2019 and the position is WEEKLY.

West Valley Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit, community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 45 years. Founded in 1973, West Valley Community Services provides a continuum of basic needs, including an in-house and mobile food pantry, homeless support, affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, family support, referrals, education, and case management. West Valley Community Services serves homeless and low-income individuals and families in the west valley communities of Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and the surrounding mountain regions.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
