Project Ropa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that hires the homeless to help the homeless. Each week we brings vital basic necessities to the streets of Los Angeles - helping restore dignity and rekindle optimism to people experiencing homelessness.
Our social enterprise employs people transitioning out of homelessness to upcycle and paint on clothing. All of the proceeds directly benefit our non-profit.
We are looking for someone with a design background to help us create tech packs that include construction details, sketches, fabrications, trims, print and color details for a collection of totes and clutches using deadstock and repurposed materials. We will be employing a person transitioning out of homelessness to do the sewing.
Our workspace will either be in West LA or in Larchmont Village on a weekday and/or Saturday.
We'll work with your schedule.
